Ryan Delaney, CFA®, is the Director of RIA & Business Services at Synchronize, where he helps lead the organization’s work with registered investment advisors, financial professionals and insurance partners.

Ryan has spent his entire career in the RIA industry, working extensively with alternative asset managers, institutional investors and financial advisors. His early career was focused on serving institutional clients in the fund-of-hedge-funds industry, where he supported portfolio needs across due diligence, manager selection and risk management. He subsequently transitioned into CFO and senior leadership roles within the independent financial advisor industry.

In 2017, Ryan co-founded Freedom Partners, a back office and business services firm created to help RIAs operate more effectively and build stronger businesses. The firm supported advisors across marketing, business development, operations, technology, financial management and practice strategy. Freedom Partners was later acquired by Lockton Affinity and became a part of Synchronize.

Currently, Ryan manages the financial operations for RIA clients, serving as a strategic member of their management teams. He works closely with clients to execute financial strategies and strengthen their businesses, with responsibilities spanning financial reporting, corporate risk management, budgeting and forecasting, inorganic growth solutions and financing strategies. His broad industry experience also enables him to advise clients on operational, human resources and compliance matters as needed.

Ryan brings a unique combination of investment management, financial leadership and RIA operating experience, allowing him to provide both strategic perspective and hands-on support to the firms he serves.
